Metamorphosis? A Bright Theme to a Dark Finish?

Roslin's scarf from The Hub episode reveals a pattern of butterflies. These images are from her encounters with Head-Elosha during that space-between time when the Hybrid is jumping the Base Ship. Series creator Ron Moore seems intent on a bleak finish to the series, but the wings I've found on Six in the Last Supper image and the scarf give me hope it won't be completely depressing - that there will be that green sprig of life emerging from the ashes. In the meantime, read Battlestar: Variant 1 fan fiction to sate your appetite until January 2009.

what happened to the fire urn? I looked at the pic on the site for the first time tonight and the urn is missing. Also, would there be any significance to the small brown book not having cropped corners?

The fire urn was colorized to match Roslin's outfit a couple weeks or so ago (you can still see the outline in larger, clearer pictures). My guess is that they are not yet at the stage in the story where she takes a huge dose of Kamala and has a vision that gives her all the answers so they took the fire urn away until that episode approaches (in 2009!). As for Kara's book, I think it was the notebook she was scribbling her notes in on the Demetrius and I don't recall it having cut corners then. It may not be deliberate because earlier interviews about the show have commented on just what a pain it is for the prop dept. to make those cut corners on books.
